Testing/screening on arrival and departure
Effective midnight 31 December travellers to Benin must undergo a COVID PCR test 48 hours before departure. All travellers arriving from Cotonou Cadjehoun International Airport must undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing. Tests cost 25,000 FCFA (normal service) or 50,000 FCFA (premium service) payable by bank card or mobile money. Testing for children under five years old is free of charge.
Departing passengers
Departing passengers must undergo testing at Cotonou Cadjehoun International Airport or Palais des Congres. Fees are 25,000 FCFA (normal service) or 50,000 FCFA (premium service). The sample must be taken less than 72 hours before departure.
